St. Anne’s Festival

A 10 days Novena prayers that draw many believers from all walks of life. in conjunction with the annual St. Anne’s Feast which falls on 26th July, a candlelight procession is usually conducted at the church grounds during the night. Built in 1957, The Church of St. Anne, Bukit Mertajam is a significant part of Penang’s history. Many historical relics can be found at the church compound such as the beautiful stained glasses at the altar.
