Penang CNY Lanterns 2017

The Penang state annual Chinese New Year event – Penang CNY Lanterns was first launched in year 2016 in conjunction with the annual Penang Chinese New year Celebration. It has successfully attracted Penangites and tourists to visit and to take photos of various kinds of giant lanterns with friend and family. In year 2017, the Penang State Government has decided to organise the lantern festival for the second time. There are more than 38 unique lanterns that are grouped into 4 major sets to be displayed at vicinity of Dewan Sri Pinang, Lebuh Light for 32 days during Chinese New Year 2017.
